How can you be so sure?

print on acrylic glass,         dimensions:120cm x 168cm

The photographic work shows a fragmented body in a ducked position. The industrial glass plate is used as an optical filter between the observer and the subject. It deals with the findings of quantum physics: there is no clearly defined boarder between me, the observer, and the outer world – an objective outside does not exist. The medium glass is used to visualize the invisible. The optical effect is used to create an image that floats between presence and solution. It is a self-portrait, an immediate interpretation for the omnipresent uncertainties and the unanswered questions which accompany our existence.
